Job Description
Title: CNA - Long-Term Care

Schedule: All contracts must run through the holiday season and begin for full shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 27 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- BLS (AHA or RQI only)
- One (1) Year of previous Long-Term Care experience
- Must have High School Diploma or GED

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Ensure resident safety and a clean environment according to protocols, including responding to call lights, fall prevention, and proper equipment monitoring.
- Meet residents' nutritional needs in accordance with their care plans, including meal delivery and assistance with feeding.
- Support residents' rehabilitative needs as per care plans, including ambulation and use of assistive devices.
- Report changes in residents' physical and emotional status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must complete orientation as specified.
- Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
