Job Description

Diversified Support Services is seeking a skilled Waterjet / Numerical Control Operator to support precision machining operations in the Acworth, GA area. This role is ideal for candidates with handson CNC experience and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safe work practices. The operator will play a key part in meeting production goals while maintaining machining excellence in a fastpaced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Perform precision machining operations by monitoring feed rates, speeds, and specialized instruments.
Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales to ensure accuracy.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by editing specifications and supporting maintenance activities.
Complete preventative maintenance, including cleaning and maintaining safe workspaces.
Utilize blueprints, dimensions, machine instructions, and project guidelines to complete machining tasks.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in a related machining or CNC role.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:

Technical school accreditation or skilled trades program completion.
Previous warehouse experience, especially in the metals industry.
Forklift experience and proficiency with handheld measuring tools.
Computer literacy.

Schedule & Pay

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
$23-$28 (DOE)
