Responsibilities: • Enforces quality assurance protocols for the Housekeeping Department, ensuring work meets established standards. • Inspects rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently followed. • Monitors houseperson’s work section to maintain cleanliness in hallways and common areas. • Inspects the inspector’s rooms to ensure cleanliness standards are being met. • Ensures all public areas, including restrooms, are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. • Performs or assists with cleaning duties as necessary. • Keeps an eye on laundry operations, ensuring washing and drying procedures are followed, and that dirty linens are not visible in hallways. • Assists in managing inventory requisition, purchasing supplies, and monitoring par stock levels for linens and housekeeping guest supplies. • Inspects work performed by staff to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards. • Reports any maintenance issues in public areas promptly. • Performs additional duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Housekeeping experience preferred **** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds and push or pull up to one hundred (100) pounds. • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and kneel. Compensation: $16 hourly
