Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Simi Valley, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department, following established standards of care and utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. The RN supervises and directs nursing staff, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Emergency Room (ER) specialty experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor required; Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; at least 1 year of experience in emergency or acute care settings.

• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to assess patient data, develop and implement care plans, coordinate with healthcare teams, and provide education to patients and families.
