Maintenance Manager

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility in Mount Airy, NC. This role is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement of production equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency and uptime. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for developing high‑performing maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance team in repair, installation, and preventative maintenance activities Oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance operations Diagnose equipment issues and assist technicians with troubleshooting and corrective actions Utilize CMMS data (Maximo preferred) to identify equipment trends and reduce downtime Drive accountability and effective use of maintenance systems across the department Coordinate closely with production leadership to minimize operational disruptions Foster a positive, team‑oriented culture focused on safety and continuous improvement Develop employee training plans to improve technical skills and team performance Recommend and implement equipment reliability and process improvements Research and execute capital improvement and equipment investment projects Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role within manufacturing or industrial environments Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and 3‑phase controls Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, and mechanical systems Strong troubleshooting experience with industrial production equipment Technical degree or related education preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered Performance‑based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company‑paid life, STD, and LTD insurance 401(k) with company match PTO and company holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Additional Information Full‑time position based in Mount Airy, NC Authorization to work in the U.S. required Visa sponsorship is not available for this position #J-18808-Ljbffr
