This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

What You Will Do

Drive clinical excellence by teaching and mentoring within a premier, ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program at a pivotal expansion phasegrowing from 19 to 39 residents by 2027.

Join a dedicated team of 7 Core Faculty Physicians within a robust clinical campus serving two medical schools.

Optimize patient outcomes through high-complexity perioperative care and geriatric consults within a specialized Resident-Faculty Practice (RFP).

Enhance patient access through a large, multi-specialty medical group supported by the national resources of the largest U.S. Catholic health system.

Outpatient / Academic

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and eligible for Indiana state medical licensure (practicing in a recognized tort-reform state).

Open to both experienced physicians and highly motivated new graduates with a passion for academic medicine.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Additional Preferences

A primary interest in teaching is required, as this role is dedicated to resident education.

Candidates with Family Medicine training will only be considered if they possess a geriatric specialty, certification, or extensive experience.
