Hiring For HVAC Technicians

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC issues and perform repairs
• Install HVAC equipment — furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, components
• Perform maintenance and system tune‑ups
• Follow safety codes and local regulations
• Communicate with customers and explain work clearly

Essential Skills & Requirements

• HVAC service and installation experience
• Troubleshooting and repair skills
• Mechanical and sheet metal abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
• 2+ years of residential HVAC experience

Additional Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Ability to work independently and adapt to schedule changes
• Commitment to safety and code compliance
• Professional, reliable work ethic
• NATE Certification (preferred)
• Experience with smart thermostats, home automation, and ductless mini‑splits
• Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge

Work Environment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM

Weekend work may occur

Participation in on‑call rotation may be required

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
