We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team and help fellow enthusiasts equip their vehicles for adventure. Position Overview
As the face of our service and parts department, you will act as the crucial bridge between our customers and our technical team. This dual-role requires a passionate powersports enthusiast who is skilled at greeting customers, scoping out modification and repair needs across various OEM lines, building accurate estimates, and sourcing the correct parts. Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Answer phone and in-person inquiries with an upbeat demeanor, guiding customers on the best parts, accessories, and upgrades for their vehicles.
Service Writing: Listen to customer concerns, perform thorough walk-around vehicle inspections, and draft clear, accurate repair orders (RO) and service estimates for major OEM lines and e-bikes.
Parts Lookup & Sourcing: Utilize Lightspeed EVO software to efficiently navigate OEM and aftermarket parts diagrams for Husqvarna, KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, Can-Am, Rieju, and major e-bike brands.
Parts Desk Operations: Serve retail walk-in and phone customers by identifying correct parts, pulling physical inventory, and processing retail sales.
Technician Support: Proactively source, order, and allocate parts for internal technician repair orders to maximize shop efficiency and minimize vehicle downtime.
Shop Coordination: Track the progress of active builds and repairs, ensuring our mechanics have what they need while providing timely status updates to customers.
Sales & Recommendations: Confidently upsell parts, accessories, gear, and preventative maintenance services based on genuine customer needs. Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Previous experience as a Service Writer, Parts Advisor, or a similar service desk role within the motorsports or automotive industry.
Software Skills: Proficiency and hands-on experience with Lightspeed EVO point-of-sale and shop management software is required.
Technical Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of major powersports OEM lines and current industry e-bike brands.
Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask seamlessly in a fast-paced retail and shop environment.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional, patient, and enthusiast-to-enthusiast communication style. What We Offer
