Area Manager Phoenix

Responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory with National Retail channel customers. Build relationships with in-store customer personnel and management to maximize Kellogg brand position and visibility within store. Manage inventory levels per Kellogg's direction to promote sales growth. Promote store relationships to increase Kellogg product visibility. Communicate market trends and activity to management.

1. Execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share within the assigned territory.
2. Visit assigned accounts within West Phoenix weekly.
3. Grow overall territory sales by increasing POS in a manner consistent with the Kellogg culture and values.
4. Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, conducting product demos and attending customer events.
5. Maintain store presentation standards through building, maintaining, cleaning, and stocking displays and home locations.
6. Execute corporately negotiated product promotions at store level, driving incremental visibility at store level and making sure all products pricing and merchandising is accurate.
7. Conduct regular territory analysis to identify growth potential and optimize sales efforts.
8. Through use of POS and other daily inventory reports, monitor inventory levels and utilize to identify growth opportunities.

Required Skills

• Merchandising and retail sales experience.
• Must be proficient in Excel using pivot tables

Required Experience

• Proven experience in sales, B2B sales, or territory management.
• 1+ Years within Lawn and Garden, home improvement industry, or other vendor related positions.
• Merchandising and retail sales experience preferred.
