Our Ankeny, Iowa facility is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor for our 3rd Shift team. Key Responsibilities Conduct in‑process and final audits on molded parts and assemblies. Verify compliance with control plans, inspection instructions, and customer specifications. Perform visual, dimensional, color, and packaging inspections. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process to maintain Zero Defects standards. Verify operator inspection activities and testing procedures. Ensure production maintains accurate traceability records. Confirm product labels contain accurate information and meet customer requirements. Review and evaluate products placed on hold for quality concerns. Document audit findings and communicate results to supervisors and production teams. Support containment activities, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in SPC, capability studies, and Quality Management System activities. Conduct daily machine audits to ensure proper setup and compliance with quality standards. Place non-conforming material on hold and notify appropriate personnel. Maintain quality records in accordance with company and IATF requirements. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues. Use gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to pass a color vision test with normal results. Ability to accurately use inspection and measurement equipment. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience in plastic injection molding. Previous quality auditing or inspection experience. Familiarity with SPC, control plans, and ISO/IATF quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, sit, and reach throughout the shift. Regular use of hands and fingers for detailed inspection tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance as needed.
