Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 18:45 - 07:15; 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other weekend required; self-scheduling based on unit needs with manager input

Highlights:

• Surgical patient population including colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, orthopedics/spine, GI surgeries, and vascular
• Target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Epic charting system with Pyxis and SBAR
• 13-week assignment or longer available through February 27th end date
• 36 hours of paid orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• IV start and telemetry skills required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Post-surgical experience with general surgery, orthopedics/spine, GI, vascular, and hepatobiliary patients preferred
• North Carolina RN license or compact state license
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• First-time travelers accepted
