Job Description

Machine Operator/Metal Worker

20-24$ based on experience

Dover, NH

Fulltime First Shift

This job is a combination of physical labor (moving steel) and precision cutting using an industrial saw. Candidates MUST have the ability to do both.

Roles and Responsibilities

Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders
Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
Packaging of material to customer requirements
Operating a forklift to move material as needed
Cutting to Precise size on either a cut off saw or plate saw
Proper completion of paperwork and work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

1-2 years of similar job experience strongly preferred
Regular attendance
Basic math skills required
Knowledge in reading measurement tools such as a tape measure or cali per
Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis
