Licenses/Certifications: BLS (required), Certified Surgical Technologist (within 180 days of graduation) or LVN/LPN License (required)

What You'll Do

• Prepare and care for pre-operative patients, ensuring proper skin prep and aseptic techniques
• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining sterile fields and passing instruments
• Transport and position patients according to surgeon instructions
• Identify and care for biological specimens
• Set up operating room tables, instruments, and supplies specific to each case
• Support surgeons across multiple specialties, including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, and more
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

What You Need

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
• BLS certification via AHA
• LVN/LPN license or Certified Surgical Technologist (within 180 days of graduation)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience in multiple surgical specialties
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to maintain sterile environment and handle complex surgical setups
