Pay: $16–$26/hr based on your skill and experience — plus $2/hr for drivers

Per diem and lodging covered on travel jobs. Experienced, multi-skilled crew members earn toward the top of the range.

Maven Group is an established commercial concrete company based in Chattanooga, pouring footings, slabs, and site concrete on commercial projects across multiple states. We're growing, and we're hiring skilled and hardworking people to run with our crews.

We don't box you into one trade. Our best crew members can do a bit of everything — form it, pour it, finish it, set the rebar, strip the forms. If you're an experienced finisher or carpenter who has worked in commercial concrete construction, we want you. If you're entry-level and willing to work and learn, we've got a spot and we'll train you. We pay for what you can do, not for a job title.

We're especially looking for drivers right now. If you can safely drive an F-250 crew truck with a trailer — no CDL needed — you earn an extra $2/hr, at any skill level.

The work — and the travel

Most of our work takes our crews out of town during the week, and we take care of you when it does: we cover your lodging and pay per diem on top of your hourly rate, so travel weeks put more money in your pocket. And you're not parked on a jobsite for months on end — our crews are home most weekends, so you still get your time with your family. The weeks are full, too — overtime is a regular part of the job, so there's real opportunity to stack hours. We run local jobs too, but if you're willing to travel, there's steady work and more take-home waiting for you.

What you'll do

•      Form, pour, finish, and strip commercial concrete — footings, slabs, and site concrete like curb, sidewalk, and paving

•      Set and strip forms, place and tie rebar, and help get sites ready to pour

•      Finish concrete to spec — flatwork, edging, and the detail work that makes a job look right

•      Keep your work area safe, clean, and moving

•      Pitch in wherever the crew needs you — the more you can do, the more valuable you are here

What we're looking for

•      Any skill level — from entry-level and eager to learn, to experienced finishers and carpenters (experience is preferred, and it pays more)

•      Willing to travel and stay out of town during the week — most of our work travels, with lodging and per diem covered

•      Reliable. You show up, on time, ready to work. We build our crews on people we can count on.

•      Able to handle the physical work: on your feet all day, lifting, bending, and working outdoors in heat and cold

•      A valid driver's license and clean driving record is a big plus — if you can safely drive an F-250 crew truck hauling a trailer (no CDL needed), you earn an extra $2/hr as a driver

•      Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
