Cybersecurity Business Analyst

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst in San Antonio, TX. Summary: We are seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst to support cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will focus on documenting technical processes, creating infrastructure documentation, developing operational procedures, and partnering with technical teams to improve overall documentation standards. The ideal candidate enjoys organizing information, mapping processes, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure professionals while contributing to long-term operational excellence and compliance efforts. Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, policies, procedures, and standards
• Document operational workflows and business processes
• Develop process maps, diagrams, and supporting documentation
• Ensure documentation remains accurate, organized, and up to date
• Assist with documentation of enterprise infrastructure environments
• Create and maintain network diagrams and technical drawings
• Work with technical teams to gather and validate infrastructure information
• Document system relationships, data flows, and connectivity between environments
• Support cybersecurity compliance and governance initiatives
• Assist with audit readiness activities and documentation requests
• Help identify and close documentation gaps within existing processes
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and standardization initiatives
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operational teams
• Gather requirements and information from technical subject matter experts
• Facilitate discussions and ensure documentation accurately reflects operational processes
• Support cross-functional projects as needed
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Technical Writer, Infrastructure Analyst, Project Manager, or related role
• Strong experience creating technical documentation and process documentation
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting business or technical processes
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience creating network diagrams, workflows, or architecture documentation
• Experience supporting audit or regulatory initiatives
• Understanding of networking concepts and enterprise infrastructure
• Exposure to cybersecurity, risk, governance, or compliance functions
