Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students in a vibrant educational community near Quincy, MA. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to further your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a high school setting. Working Monday through Friday, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team that values your expertise and commitment to student success.
This position welcomes experienced professionals as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). You'll provide vital speech and language services, helping students reach their fullest potential.
What we're seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- SLP-CCC or candidates completing CFY welcome
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred, but all school-based SLP backgrounds considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct and consultative speech therapy services to high school students
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other professionals for comprehensive care
- Completing required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student goal setting and progress tracking
