Assembly Technician

State of the art technology!The primary duty of this role is the mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools. The technician will be responsible for the final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, as well as testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical subassemblies using hand and power tools.Perform final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.Assemble modules according to provided schematics.Essential Skills:Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test.Experience in reading electrical schematics.Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools.Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with circuit board assembly is a plus.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desired.Why Work Here?Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, critical illness, accident, and hospital insurance. The 40,000 square feet facility operates on a 1st shift Monday-Friday 9/80 work schedule.Job Type & Location:This is a contract to hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
