Job Duties

• Pick, inspect, and move inventory to the correct location for inspection or shipment
• Verify lot numbers, quantities, purchase orders, and shipping orders for accuracy; identify damage or defects
• Pack, wrap, label, and prepare pallets and orders for shipment
• Safely operate required warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Assist with order maintenance, basic order troubleshooting, and warehouse support as needed
• Follow SOPs, SOWs, safety requirements, and 5S standards
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors to maintain service, safety, and productivity
• Complete required training and report policy or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation. Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Must be able to pass background and drug screen Must have at least 1 year of warehousing, distribution, and various forklift equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred. Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
