Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Gastonia, North Carolina. This position involves performing ultrasound imaging with specific proficiency in general abdominal, rule-out Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), and rule-out Ectopic cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Gastonia, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications required include Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), along with relevant education. Candidates must have two years of experience in vascular sonography.
• Preferred Qualifications: Competency in general abdominal, R/O DVT, R/O Ectopic, limited vascular, Obstetric and Gynecologic (OB/GYN), neonatal head, breast, and prostate imaging. Support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages is a significant value add. Experience with Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units is required.
• Additional Information: The imaging department has 3 hospital procedure rooms, 1 Emergency Department room, and 4 rooms in the imaging area, supporting 17 radiologists with a variety of imaging services. Most assignments are on shift with other sonographers at the same location. Cases will vary by location and assigned bench. Scrubs or lab coat in black, teal, or white are required in either lab coat or scrubs.
