We are seeking to hire a CNC Operations Manager to join our professional team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities: The CNC Machine Operator Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the CNC machining department. This role involves supervising a team of CNC machine operators, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and performing hands-on machining tasks when necessary. The foreman will also coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient and safe operations. Job Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of CNC machine operators across multiple shifts or machines. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines, as needed. Assign jobs to operators based on skill level and production priorities. Monitor production output and ensure it meets specifications and deadlines. Perform quality inspections on machined parts and assist in root cause analysis for any non-conformance. Maintain and enforce safety protocols and ensure operators follow all safety guidelines. Train new operators and provide ongoing coaching and skill development for team members. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure machinery is maintained and repaired promptly. Track and report daily production metrics and provide input on process improvements. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Job Requirements: Minimum AA Degree or completed trade school study relevant toward CNC machine manufacturing. Or the experience and track record relevant to the role. 10 years’ experience working in a highly dynamic, metric driven, close tolerance manufacturing environment, with responsibilities in machine operation, programming, and cutting tool selection and maintenance. Minimum 5 years’ experience supervising machine operators, process and equipment in a highly dynamic, metric driven, close tolerance manufacturing environment Hand on team leadership experience including supervision, goal setting, problem solving and follow up. Direct experience with root cause analysis associated with CNC machine tools, cutting tools and human performance.
