We are seeking an Accounting Consultant at the Controller level to join our growing Financial Operations practice in the DFW area. You will be a valuable part of our client delivery team in this role. What You’ll Do Build and maintain relationships with Current and prospective clients Interact with BPC members in Financial Operations and other practice areas of the firm to coordinate excellent delivery Assist with reconciliations, month end reporting, preparing clients for audit, cleaning up their books, and assisting their department with integration of merger and acquisition data Interact directly with the client contact (CFO, Controller) and their staff Provide project status updates, feedback, and thoughtful insights into client challenges for your delivery manager Embrace flexibility and take on tasks and assignments that maybe out of your comfort zone Required Skills 6+ years of hands‑on full‑cycle accounting experience B.A. or B.S. required, Accounting or Finance degrees preferred Strong desire for consulting‑style work and delivering excellent customer service Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, oilfield services, insurance and Big Four/public accounting is highly preferred Experience with monthly close procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting Recent hands‑on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management Hands‑on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct) Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization Demonstration of a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues Past experience working in small to mid‑sized company environment with the ability to multi‑task and wear several hats Preferred Skills CPA and/or MBA preferred Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms Industry experience in emerging growth, technology, and SaaS companies Revenue Recognitions highly preferred What We Have to Offer Quarterly Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision 401K with company match Paid time off, sick pay, parental leave, and more Fun, exciting, fast‑paced environment Strong commitment to work/life balance and the opportunity for extended periods of time off Comprehensive onboarding and on‑going personal and career development Why #TEAMBRIDGEPOINT Bridgepoint Consulting provides a collaborative and energizing work environment for our team of experienced professionals.
