We are proud to produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and international customers.We are currently recruiting for an Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Riverside site - one of our primary pork facilities within the Hull and East Riding region.Main Duties Include (but not limited to):· Maintain plant and equipment to optimum standards safely with minimum downtime· Ensure that all health and safety and food hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times· Ensure the efficient usage of spare parts, consumables and equipment· Carry out planned maintenance on the equipment which includes in depth visual checks to critical machinery components to identify damage and metal on metal contact or wear· Document PPM checks and record any necessary corrective action· Ensure that the workshops and engineering equipment are maintained and in a clean condition that this fit for purpose· Understand how to trace faults (route cause analysis)· Understand the importance of maintenance and performance validation· Be fully trained in the Manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations, lubrication requirements and critical locations on the equipmentWhat We Look For:· Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering· Experience in a similar role: Electrical engineer, electrician· 2+ years previous experience of FMCG manufacturing – advantageous· Ability to work well within a team· Work well under pressure and meet set deadlines· Strong level of attention to detailWhat We Can Offer:· Job stability at a growing and expanding company· Strong commitment to progression and personal development· Weekly pay· Time and a half pay for overtime· 20 days annual leave entitlement (inclusive of bank holidays)· Purchase company shares via discounted share scheme· Company pension scheme – up to 10% employers contribution· Cycle to work scheme, retail discounts app, health and wellbeing programmeA full job description is available upon request.Please apply on Indeed or submit your CV & Cover Letter to: [email protected]If you are an internal applicant, please ensure you have made your line manager aware before applying and confirm this when submitting your application.
