Industrial Engineer Early Career - Chelmsford, MA

Position Overview You will be an Industrial Engineer with Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford Operations facility in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The role focuses on supporting production for microelectronics product lines. What You Will Be Doing Assist with development of production operation time standards, tracking cost and schedule performance at the part level, establishing efficiency calculations, capacity and manpower assessments, trend analysis, capital equipment justifications, production layouts and process flows, cost and span reduction initiatives, and other process improvement activities. Work closely with the Product Manager, Product Lead, and other Program Support Teams to refine and improve production in an RF and microelectronics environment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited college Knowledge and understanding of Production/Industrial Engineering concepts Tools and skills for driving continuous improvement projects Experience with process simulation modeling Must be a US Citizen; ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance prior to start Desired Skills Experience with SAP ERP system Experience with simulation modeling, specifically Simio Understanding of Capacity Planning, Manloading/ Balancing, Estimating/Line Flow Manufacturing layout development, specifically AutoCAD Experience/Internship working in a manufacturing environment Lean/Six Sigma Training or Certification Security Clearance Position requires a US Citizen and a Secret clearance. Location & Schedule Location: Chelmsford, MA. Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Onsite full‑time. Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary range: $52,300 – $92,230. Position is incentive‑plan eligible.
