Key responsibilities of this position are maintaining relationships with business accounts and sourcing new business opportunities.Essential Job FunctionsMust adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.Focuses primarily on leading the sales efforts in achieving or exceeding personal and property wide annual revenue goals while maintaining the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.Answer inquiries for business within established deadlines while maintaining a daily schedule of soliciting new business.Research and solicit new business over the telephone, in person or through exhibits at trade shows and maintain effective communication with established clientele.Conduct outside sales calls to new and existing clients.Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.Negotiate all sales contracts effectively.Prepare and maintain corporate business, corporate files, records, correspondence and reports to ensure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures.Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within the appropriate software applications.Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required along with (3) three to (5) five years of hotel sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.Additional RequirementsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
