By combining culinary artistry with genuine hospitality, you will create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression and keep guests coming back for more. **THE STARTING RATE:** $27.0038/hr **THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes* Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation* Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities* Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels* Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas* Follow recipes according to Chef specifications* Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected* Assist with pantry and preparation areas**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** Minimum 1 year of sushi preparation experience in a professional restaurant environment required.* Experience preparing a variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.* Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred.* Pastry or dessert preparation experience is a plus and would be considered an added benefit.* Must be flexible and available to work a part-time, on-call schedule, including varied shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak business periods as needed based on operational demands**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:** you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**?
