Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients, including assessment, treatment, and care planning for physical disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or surgery.
- Develop and re-evaluate patient care plans; utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive devices to relieve pain and maximize function.
- Document all pertinent information in the EMR; communicate treatment plans with patients, families, and the care team; complete daily billing procedures.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and procedures; supervise OT aides and support staff; collaborate with the supervising physician as needed.
- Manage daily workload and monitor safety of care equipment and environment; report deficiencies to the Director as required.
- Mentorship opportunity with an experienced hand therapy provider to support the elbow/wrist/hand program growth.

Requirements
- Active Washington state OT license or eligible to obtain
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (American Occupational Therapy Association approved); advanced degree preferred
- One year outpatient care experience preferred; hand therapy and splinting experience preferred
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification within 3 months of hire
- Ability to evaluate and provide care across the age continuum from school age to geriatric
