Design Engineer

This position will lead creative mechanical engineering, supervise the design and testing of cutting-edge prototypes, and ensure effective team collaboration with strong communication skills to deliver innovative solutions to the customer.
- Complete highly technical, difficult, and complex design assignments generally utilizing 3D CAD methods.
- Perform specialized design computations and analysis.
- Perform reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design
Requirements
Required skills:
- Top Secret Clearance and US Citizenship
- 8+ Years of related experience
- Modeling and simulation; fracture mechanics, deployment accuracy and acoustics modeling.
- Experience with CAD such as Fusion 360 or AutoDesk Inventor.
- Experience with ?Finite Element Analysis
- Ability to travel 25% of the year
Desired skills:
- Familiar with CNC machines
- Familiar with 3D Printing
- Experience with Robotics
- Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems
- Experience with Modeling, Simulations and Flight Characteristics
