Assistant Physical Therapist

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring treatment aligns with established plans and policies. Key Responsibilities Follow ethics, standards, and policies set by professional and licensing bodies. Administer treatments efficiently and accurately according to the PT plan of care and physician orders. Communicate effectively with therapists to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain detailed and compliant clinical documentation of patient progress and treatments. Assist with scheduling, billing, paperwork, and other administrative tasks. Contribute to the clinical education of Physical Therapist Assistant students. Qualifications & Skills Active license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the practice state. Ability to perform essential functions, including effective communication, visual acuity, and hearing. Preferred: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program and less than 1 year of related experience.
