An established boutique law firm headquartered in the Northeast is expanding its commercial practice and seeking a Partner-Track Attorney with a portable book of business. The role will help manage day-to-day legal matters and support continued growth of the firm’s multi-state practice, including development of work connected to Florida.

This is not a staff-associate position. The successful candidate will take ownership of matters, develop client relationships, and be evaluated for partnership based on performance, origination, and contribution to the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day commercial, transactional, and litigation matters with increasing independence
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, corporate documents, employment agreements, and related instruments
• Support and handle State and Federal commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters
• Counsel clients on business formation, governance, compliance, employer-side employment issues, and cross-border matters
• Originate and expand client relationships; maintain and grow a portable book of business
• Coordinate with the firm’s existing attorney, paralegal, and operations team
• Contribute to practice development and long-term growth of the platform

Minimum Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar required; additional admissions a plus.
• Approximately 5–10 years of law firm or in-house commercial/corporate experience
• Portable book of business required
• Demonstrated ability to originate work, maintain client relationships, and handle matters with limited supervision
• Strong research, writing, and client-service skills
• Ability to work independently in a lean, remote-friendly boutique environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-state or international business matters
• Arbitration/mediation experience
• Employer-side employment counseling or business immigration exposure
• Interest in a long-term partnership path

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time
• Remote / hybrid, with preference for candidates in the Orlando–Central Florida area
• Compensation base rate $150,000 + depending on portable business and origination paid quarterly.
