Rental Associate

Fort De Soto Hospitality operates a variety of concessions and rentals in the park, located in Pinellas County. We're looking for energetic team members that will play a vital role in providing guests an enjoyable experience while visiting the park. From kayak and bike rentals, snacks, beach supplies and souvenirs, we are the premium park vendor. The beachy atmosphere promotes a fun and ideal workspace immersed in the natural beauty of the park and surrounding waters. Responsibilities Assisting guests with bike or kayak rentals. Greet customers and provide friendly customer service Assist customers with all park related inquiries Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point of sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards and making change Ensure rental equipment is in good working condition and report concerns to management Participate in closing, opening procedures Keep retail and/or rental storage space clean and organized Demonstrate knowledge of rentals, park and safety information Position Requirements Excellent customer service and people skills Must be computer proficient Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Majority of shift will be spent on feet, up to 8 hours per day Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Position involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting.
