Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of litigation experience and be comfortable independently managing litigation-related assignments, deadlines, documentation, and case support. Full-time on-site availability in Freehold, NJ is required.

Job Description

• Manage key aspects of litigation case files from discovery through hearings and trial preparation
• Process and maintain case databases, documents, discovery materials, and evidence
• Compile and organize discovery responses, evidence, exhibits, and litigation materials
• Assist with analysis and presentation of conventional and electronic evidence
• Prepare and finalize pleadings and other legal documents for electronic filing and docketing
• Maintain accurate case files, calendars, deadlines, and document management systems
• Schedule meetings, hearings, and other case-related events
• Communicate professionally with counsel, clients, and court personnel
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail related to active matters
• Perform computer-based legal research and support attorneys with ongoing litigation needs
• Handle assignments with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Prior paralegal or comparable litigation support experience
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, pleadings, e-filing, and docketing
• Experience working with computerized legal databases and document management systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with Kofax preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
• High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
