As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in High Point, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This unarmed patrol post offers the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

DayTimeFri04:30 PM - 11:00 PMSat04:30 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Monitor customer and employee traffic, observe for policy violations, and report suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and/or unauthorized access activity according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with access control and after-hours checks, and helping to deter unwanted activity through routine observation and reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
