Data CoordinatorThe Louisiana Special Schools are experiencing a critical shortage of certified teachers, school counselors, interpreters and educators of the Deaf or hard of hearing and Visually Impaired. The LA SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking applicants for DATA COORDINATOR. This position will be located at the SSD / Accountability and Assessment Position #50619448. This is an Unclassified - Exempt Position.The Data Coordinator oversees the collection, integrity, analysis, and reporting of district-wide data to support instructional improvement, operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This role ensures accurate, timely, and secure data systems while collaborating with instructional, administrative, and technical teams across the district.This position will ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, LDOE, and LASSD policies and procedures. Physical requirements are subject to reasonable accommodation in accordance with ADA standards.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher, in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Education, Statistics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in data management, reporting, or analytics (K–12 or public sector preferred). Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools. Experience working with student or/or staff information systems such as JCampus, EdLink, eScholar, SER, STS/LEADS, FTP preferred. Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices. Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
