The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $67,900.00 Work Shift This position will support the D shift which is every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6pm - 6am and every other Saturday from 6pm - 6am. All night positions receive a 10% shift differential added to their base pay. Purpose Statement The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations. Key Job Accountabilities Develops/executes manufacturing solutions / provides high‑quality, cost‑appropriate services that satisfy customer requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty and applying process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role. Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role. Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications / cross‑discipline or supplier coordination, as it applies to their role. Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes, and provides support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role. Comprehensive understanding of equipment / process control / safety / risk awareness / setup awareness / operation as it applies to their role. Education and Experience Qualifications Associate’s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
