The Lead Occupational Therapist is an accomplished therapist. The Lead OT provides a full range of Occupational Therapy services to include evaluation and treatment for upper extremity and hand disorders, including functional activities of daily living and workplace issues. Complies with all regulations, standards, hospital and department policies and procedures, provides ongoing education (formal and informal) to all staff and serves as a clinical resource for the department. In the absence of, and in partnership with department management, supports departmental initiatives.

Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults, or older adults

Experience with a wide variety of patient diagnoses.

Advanced clinical and professional skills.

Ongoing clinical and professional growth.

Active participation in program development and student programs.

Basic Windows and mouse skills.

Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.

Good communication skills; read, speaks, and writes English fluently.

Bilingual skills preferred.

OT - Occupational Therapist Registered - licensed in California

Registered or eligible for registration by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Minimum Salary: $55.75
