MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Perform and lead activities related to system administration. Manage domains, audit user permissions across platforms, and enforce compliance with regulations and policies. Develop disaster recovery strategies and provide technical support to users. Install, maintain, configure, and ensure the integrity of computer software and operating systems. Implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Administer desktop and server systems connected to local and wide-area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and related functions. Provide day-to-day support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution. Support status communications and escalations to agency management and customers. Manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load OS and application software, and resolve hardware/software issues across systems and infrastructure components. Integrate new technologies into existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Experience: 12 years of experience Technical Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service orientation. Ability to multitask, prioritize, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint). Experience managing domains, auditing permissions, developing disaster recovery strategies, providing technical support, and ensuring policy compliance. Experience with PowerShell scripting. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
