Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical care ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Details

• 18-bed ICU serving a diverse critical care patient population including surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis cases
• Day/night rotation with 36 hours per week
• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring required
• Care includes ventilated patients and management of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Responsibilities include assisting with line insertion and maintenance, as well as management of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs required
• PA line placement and waveform interpretation required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 references from managers required for consideration
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma ICU experience within the last 2 years required
• Proficiency in advanced critical care skills including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive medication administration
