Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will Do:Leading teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.Must have demonstrated effective root cause determination skills, Red-X, Fault Tree, etc.Must have ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data.Perform product, process and work instruction audits.Interface with various Engineering groups and Customer Support to resolve technical/quality issues related to engine manual repairs and other approved technical data.Lead and participate in various teams in support of the unit’s CORE / six sigma goals.Review and implement various regulatory requirement changes.Provide technical guidance and training to OEM Parts Inspectors.Assist with Escape investigations within Business Units.Actively participate on plantwide team.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Qualifications We Prefer:An understanding of P&W Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9100 Requirements.Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written), work and relate with people at all levels of the organization and be self-sufficient.Ability to influence actions, decisions and to drive change.Ability to encourage and motivate others to be successful.Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in statistics and data analytics is a plus.Six Sigma project leadership/management/coaching experience is a plus.Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime.Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
