Job Title Supervisor Environmental Services; Evenings Location METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER, Cleveland, OH Schedule Biweekly Hours: 80.00 Shift: 3:00 p‑11:30 p, rotating weekends and holidays Summary Supervises the efficient and effective operation of assigned area(s). Supervises the work of assigned Environmental Services staff. Ensures the execution of appropriate environmental services in assigned area(s). Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System. Qualifications HS Diploma or high‑school equivalency. Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital‑based housekeeping OR 2 years of supervisory experience in any field. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred Associate’s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution. Experience as a supervisor of hospital‑based housekeeping. 3 years supervising hotel or hospital housekeepers. 2 years operating floor‑care equipment (e.g., high‑speed buffer, auto‑scrubber, rotary scrubber, wet/dry suction, steamer). Physical Requirements May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. Normal visual and auditory ranges, with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment. May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion. Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
