SummaryAs a Dealer Trade Driver, you will play a critical role in the efficient operations of our dealership by ensuring the safe and timely transport of vehicles between different dealership locations. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. The primary goal of this position is to facilitate smooth inter-dealership vehicle transfers, ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing inventory levels.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently transport vehicles between dealership locations, ensuring the protection and integrity of the vehicles during transitProperly load and secure vehicles onto the transport trailer or delivery truck, adhering to industry safety standards and guidelinesMaintain accurate records of all transported vehicles, including vehicle information, mileage, and condition reportsMaintain effective communication with dealership staff to coordinate vehicle pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfactionAdhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe driving experience and protect the vehicles being transportedConduct preand post-trip inspections of the transport vehicle and report any issues or damages promptly to the appropriate personnelInteract professionally and courteously with customers and dealership personnel, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or inquiriesHandle unexpected situations such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns, adapting to changing circumstances to ensure on-time deliveries and pick-upsRequirements and QualificationsPossess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, meeting the requirements set by local and national driving regulationsPrevious experience in vehicle transport, delivery driving, or a related field is preferredAbility to lift, load, and unload vehicles, as well as perform other physical tasks associated with the positionStrong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and safe driving practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and dealership personnelDependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks accurately and on timeAbility to accurately complete paperwork and maintain detailed records of vehicle transportWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, to accommodate business needs and operational demandsAbility to work well within a team environment, cooperating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work atmosphereWhy Automotive:Career growth: Endless opportunities for career development within our organization, with development programs and training to get you where you want to be.Stability: Even through these uncertain times, Anderson Automotive Group was able to continue to provide excellence in our communitiesTechnology: There is no industry more exciting than Automotive.
