Senior Mammography Technologist

Description This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile. The technologist is responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. The technologist also performs required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as designated quality control technologist under their direction. Responsibilities Perform radiologic technical procedures for breast imaging in a high‑volume outpatient setting. Produce high‑quality radiographic images and interact with patients professionally. Execute quality control activities in accordance with MQSA and FDA regulations. Required Qualifications Formal radiologic technology training program meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. National Registered Technologist – Mammography within one year of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of full‑time mammography experience.
