Job Description Duration: 1+ year Job Description: Provide systems administration support for multiple Solaris servers running Solaris 10. Install and configure new software and hardware products. Perform system tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Support the development and testing teams as necessary, evaluate and recommend new products that meet their needs. Manage the SAN environment to ensure availability and performance. Design and implement creative solutions that improve system processes through automation and documentation. May act as a manager or lead, responsible for planning and monitoring schedule milestone and deliverables. Must possess effective oral and written skills and strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. Must be a team player able to work in a dynamic environment and have a working knowledge of the SDLC and the associated processes and documentation. Specific Experience: Must possess 10 years Solaris 10 and 5 years SAN Fibre Channel Administration experience. Prefer experience implementing solutions in IBM WAS, Oracle, and Red Hat environment and hands-on experience working with Brocade switches and NetBackup, writing Shell scripts, and managing security requirements in a Solaris environment.
