Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. The RN will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age and needs of the patient population served on the assigned units, ensuring that quality care is provided safely and effectively.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and establish patient care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement measurable individualized care plans within established timeframes.
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on fact interpretation and patient outcome evaluations.
• Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and significant others.
• Document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures as needed.
• Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
• Delegate unit work assignments to ensure completion of required patient care activities.
• Promote a positive work environment and support unit staff growth and development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• TNCC Certification required.
• CPI/De-Escalation (CPIDE) certification required.
• NIH Certification required.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
• ACLS Certification from AHA required.
• PALS Certification from AHA required.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
