The Commercial Painter will focus on painting homes in a new community, working within a small team of 2-5 members. This role requires surface preparation, paint application, and color matching using standard painting tools, advanced spray systems, and protective coatings. The position involves minimal client interaction and emphasizes safety compliance and quality inspection to ensure excellent finish standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and advanced spray systems
- Match colors accurately to project specifications
- Maintain safety compliance at all times
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in commercial painting
Preferred Qualifications
- Spray painting expertise
- Proficiency with brush and roll techniques
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods
- Familiarity with safety standards in painting
- Color mixing skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Effective time management
- Good communication skills
