Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment / Phone Support

This is a full-time position on-site based at our CareMed Specialty Pharmacy i n New Hyde Park, New York. This position is on-site and will primarily be Fulfillment in addition to Phone Support coverage as needed., Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6pm. We offer quarterly incentive bonuses as well as a possible $500 bonus for technicians to obtain their CPhT and/or CPhT-ADV credentials. Come and grow with us! Starting salary from $27.00 an hour and up Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before August 31, 2026. Ensure that the pharmacy is in compliance with all applicable accreditation standards to maintain accreditation status. Ensure that all prescriptions are billed in accordance with Medicare/DMEPOS regulations and that all required information is documented on the hard copy prescription. Assist in resolving client/patient concerns and complaints. Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company guidelines. Report product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participate in the Company's Quality Improvement (QI)/Quality Assurance Program as requested by the QI Coordinators or Managers. Participate in Company committees when requested. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Director (Supervising Pharmacist) and Clinical Staff Pharmacist(s). Packing, shipping, receiving and labeling tasks in association with the Company's shipping operation. Provide great customer service while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor at all times. Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : High School Diploma or GED, required. Associates Degree or equivalent program from a two-year college or technical school, or certificate program in pharmacy or healthcare, preferred. Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, required. 2-4 years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy, preferred. Proficient in data entry, verbal skills, phone support, computer skills and the ability to learn the department's software system. #CareMed1 #IH Employment Type: Full Time
