Accreditation Specialist

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Accreditation, the Accreditation Specialist supports accreditation activities to ensure compliance with NCQA standards across assigned health plan lines of business. This role assists with documentation, process alignment, and survey readiness to support successful accreditation outcomes.
Support accreditation activities and ongoing compliance efforts for assigned line(s) of business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process execution, documentation updates, and alignment with accreditation standards
Assist with monitoring new and existing NCQA standards, including contributing to gap assessments and implementation activities under guidance
Maintain and update accreditation documentation, tracking tools, and reporting (e.g., dashboards) to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Participate in survey preparation, readiness activities, and ongoing audit/monitoring processes
Track assigned activities and support routine compliance review and audit efforts
Accreditation scope may include NCQA Health Plan, Complex Case Management, and Credentialing & Provider Network (CR/PN)
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field, or equivalent experience; RN preferred
3-5 years of experience in healthcare, accreditation, compliance, or quality-related roles
Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., NCQA, Joint Commission) preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard reporting tools
