If you're looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive skilled nursing environment, we'd love to meet you.Our team is committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care for every resident, and we're looking for nurses who share that same passion for excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & SupervisionDirect and monitor the daily functions of nursing assistantsEnsure quality resident care in alignment with individualized care plansAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents as neededAdminister medications and treatments per physician ordersMonitor, document, and report changes in resident conditionsDocumentation & ReportingAccurately complete and maintain resident medical recordsRecord physician orders, chart treatments, and update care plansPrepare required forms, evaluation summaries, and progress notesLeadership & CommunicationProvide guidance and oversight to CNA staffConduct routine rounds to ensure care quality and staff complianceCommunicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teamsParticipate in staff meetings, in-services, and ongoing trainingCompliance & SafetyFollow infection control, safety standards, and facility protocolsParticipate in audits, surveys, and quality assurance activitiesMaintain confidentiality of resident and facility informationQualificationsCurrent, valid California LVN licenseCPR certification requiredGraduate of an accredited LVN programKnowledge of Medicare/Medi-Cal regulations preferredExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyMust be able to lift 25 lbs and perform essential physical job dutiesWhy Join Visalia Post Acute?Competitive starting wage at $30/hourSupportive, team-focused work environmentOpportunities for professional development and continuing educationMake a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of our residents every dayWe are an equal opportunity employer.
