Randstad is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join an established CPA firm in Las Vegas. Looking for something more stable than the usual chaotic, seasonal tax rush? This isn't just a seasonal gig our client needs a professional who is in it with them throughout the year, handling a diverse mix of returns. This is a permanent, year-round role offering consistent part-time hours.

• Location: a few miles away from Harry Reid Airport (On-Site)

• Compensation: Open / Competitive Hourly Rate. DOE

responsibilities:

• Accurately compile and file Individual, S-Corp and Partnership returns.
• Review, categorize, and organize client financial documentation with strict attention to accuracy.
• Proactively identify eligible credits, deductions, and strategic tax-saving strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Maintain professional, welcoming, and prompt communication with clients to clarify financial records and retrieve missing documentation.
• Verify that all prepared returns strictly adhere to evolving federal and state tax regulations.
• Maintain meticulously organized and error-free client files to ensure complete audit compliance.

qualifications:

• 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting, CPA firm, or a related environment is required.
• Working knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations is required.
• Experience with tax forms such as 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• Comfortable meeting with clients in person, by phone, and via video conference.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities during busy seasons.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
