Laboratory Technician

Job Title

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $23.75hr - $28.75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Prior experience working in a chemical laboratory environment.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations.
• Ability to work a rotation schedule of 7/2 – 7/4 (day / night rotation).
• Willingness to undergo NEST training in Kellyville, OK.
• Minimum of an Associate degree or high school diploma.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or science-related field.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Perform quality assurance tests on company products.
• Prepare laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite.
• Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
• Maintain contact with Client Support Labs, operating locations, product centers, and the InTouch repository.
• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Develop the competency level required to perform advanced additive selection and fluid design.
• Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed.
• Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
• Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
• Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
• Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
