Overview
We are seeking a Material Handler/Shipping professional to join our team in Lincolnton, NC, 28092. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our facility. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products.
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and production goals.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in material handling or shipping is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
